Build and Fly a Delta Dart
Have you ever wanted to build your own balsa indoor flyer but didn't know where to begin. The Delta Dart would be a great choice but there are many others to choose from with a wealth of information available through associations with websites. The American Model Airplane Association is an excellent site with a separate site devoted specifically to the Delta Dart. The Dart is a great flyer. I have built several and helped many of my students do the same. If you know a balsa model builder you can scrounge some scrap from them and you will need a little tissue paper and glue. Detailed instructions are available at the AMA site. Kits are also available for a nominal fee from many hobby shops.
